Using Mods, Help please, new to this.

beed trying to install and use mods with supreme commander FA on the http://supremecommander.filefront.com/ web site but not having any luck,
i need to unzip and place mods in the mods folder but i cannot find this folder, i take it that the new mods should show up in the mods section when ingame, but were is this folder and is it as simple as drag and drop.

Go there create a new folder called "Mods"
